We recommend flying into Raleigh-Durham International Airport
Lyft and Uber are relatively inexpensive and easy to catch from the airport. Once you get to downtown Durham there are plenty of things to do, see and eat near the hotels.
-
Eno River State Park - Take a hike where Tylor Proposed
Museum of Life and Science - Great for kids!
Duke Gardens - Botanical gardens in the heart of Duke University
-
Durham Food Hall - right in Durham Central Park with lots of culinary options to choose from.
Glass Jug - right across from the food hall overlooking central park. Host of Tylor’s annual beer mile (and our Friday welcome party)
Parker and Otis - grab a sandwich and see American Tobacco Campus and the famous Durham water tower
Flying Bull Beer Company - two locations, check out Ninth street or their new downtown restaurant location
Daily Beer Bar - despite the name they also have great coffee and Suzy’s favorite chocolate chip cookie in town
Pour - Tylor’s favorite pour your own beer place right off the main square and “Major” the Bull
-
Parking is limited around the Cookery. There will be a free valet service for our guests in front of the venue.
If you are staying downtown we suggest using Uber or Lyft. While the venue is less than a mile from most downtown hotels the route is not very walkable.

Kiddos are absolutely welcome at the wedding (Charlie will be there!) But we’re also working on arranging childcare options for parents who may want to enjoy the celebration without their little ones. If you have questions feel free to reach out, we’re happy to help!

We are using withjoy.com to collect our wedding and welcome party RSVPs. If you have any trouble finding your name or using the site, please reach out and we’ll grab your response the old fashioned way :)

We’re so grateful just to celebrate with you! While gifts are not expected, for those who have kindly asked, we’ve created a registry on myregistry.com
